Clothing repair, dry cleaning or alteration: what does it cost?
Below are the current rates at mijnKleermaker, from clothing repair to dry cleaning: per garment and per treatment, VAT included. What a repair costs depends on the garment and on the work involved — sewing on a button is a different job from replacing the zip in a lined winter coat.
The amounts below come straight from our system, so they are the same prices you will see in the order module. You get to check the exact total once more before you pay.
What determines the price?
The garment
A seam in a T-shirt is less work than the same seam in a lined winter coat. That is why every garment has its own rate.
The treatment
Sewing on a button, shortening a hem, replacing a zip: each type of repair has its own fixed price.
The fabric
Silk, lace, leather and technical outdoor fabrics call for a different approach and sometimes for extra materials.
The scope
Several repairs and several garments go into a single order, so you only pay for shipping once.
All amounts on this page include 9% VAT, the reduced Dutch rate for clothing repair.

Dry cleaning: what does it cost?
Wondering what dry cleaning costs? These rates apply per garment and include VAT. You do not need to drop anything off: we collect your clothes and return them cleaned. What each treatment involves is explained on our cleaning page. Cleaning

Alterations: coming soon
Alterations are not online yet, so we cannot show you what it will cost to alter a pair of trousers, shorten a hem or take in a jacket. As soon as those rates are set, they will appear on this page.

On top of the price of the treatment you pay for shipping both ways. Dropping your clothes off at a partner location removes part of that cost. In a hurry? Pick a faster turnaround when you order; choose a longer turnaround instead and you get a discount. The exact amounts appear in the order module, because they depend on your choices.
